CAMERA Education Institute (CEI) is part of the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA), a 40-year-old media-monitoring, research and membership organization devoted to promoting accurate and balanced coverage of Israel and the Middle East.

Founded in 2021, CEI exposes anti-Israel and anti-Jewish bias in educational materials, curricula and programming and works to educate the public and redress abuses. The Institute includes three departments – one that focuses on K-12 schools, one that deals with issues in academia and one that directly assists students on campus. CEI provides guidance and resources to students, parents, educators, concerned citizens and communities.

Our plan of action

We empower individuals and communities to counter bias in the educational system

  • We document bias in curricula, textbooks, and literature
  • We directly assist parents and families facing prejudice
  • We publicly expose erroneous educational materials
  • We assist university students to counter antisemitism and antizionism on campus

  • We provide fact-checked accurate educational content
  • We offer informational conferences and workshops
  • We track and document incidence of bias in academia
  • We publicize bias against faculty members

CAMERA’s CURRICULUM
